DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND PREPARED ACTIONS

“WEEDS” has collaborated with disaster risk management departments in Kanchipuram Collectorate and providing awareness on natural disaster and human disaster. And also alerted created among the poor masses those who are in vulnerable situation. Specifically, it is emphasized for the precaution and preparedness carried out by the youth, women’s and employees to face the problems against heavy floods, earthquakes, hot flames, cyclonic havoc, thunder & flaming and other natural calamities. Awareness education on first aid and ambulance services, planting saplings where ever possible to reduce the hot forces and damages by the disasters. Linkages has been developed with proper dept. in Govt. as well as private sectors for the emergency services for relief and rescue activities. Moreover, the youths, farmers and women acquired the knowledge’s about the protection and safeguard from the dangerousness.
